Are you curious about the “financial stability rating” (FSR) of our title insurance underwriters?
Demotech, Inc. performs independent financial analysis of the title insurance industry. Financial Stability Ratings® (FSRs) are a leading indicator of the financial stability of Property and Casualty insurers and Title underwriters. Our rating process provides an objective baseline for assessing solvency based upon changes in financial stability, as manifested in an insurers' balance sheet. FSRs are based upon a series of quantitative ratios and considerations which together comprise our Financial Stability Analysis Model. Demotech ratings are accepted by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and HUD. You can easily research the Demotech FSR for any title insurance underwriter by going to www.demotech.com and entering the title insurance underwriter’s name.
